As a Design Engineeryou will be working on: Jigs, Fixtures and special purpose machineryfor the Aerospace, Automotive and Nuclear Industries.
Main Duties
Mechanical Design of Jigs, Fixtures and Tooling.
Creating 3D models of designs.
Generation of 2D detail drawings for manufacture.
Technical documentation creation.
Essential Skills
Proficient in Siemens NX CAD Software.
Additional experience in any/all of the following CAD packages:
SolidWorks.
CATIA V5.
Autodesk Inventor.
Competent with Microsoft office software suite.
Educated to degree level or equivalent.
Desired Skills
Aerospace, Defence or Nuclear industry experience.
Time served Toolmaker/Pattern Maker.
Desired Experience
UKCA/CE Marking process.
FEA Analysis / Basic calculations.
