Senior Legal Talent Management Specialist

Our client, an elite US Law firm is seeking a Senior Legal Talent Management Specialist to join them on a full-time, permanent basis.

Due to an exciting and impressive stage of growth, our client is looking to add a Senior Legal Talent Management Specialist to the team, where you will be working closely with Partners, Practice Group Team Leaders and global Legal Talent Management to deliver high-quality personnel support throughout the Lawyers lifecycle.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within a Law Firm, and will ideally hold their CIPD qualification, although this is not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

* Serve as the primary contact for Lawyer onboarding, working closely with the team to ensure a seamless onboarding process

* Coordinate relocations and lateral integrations

* Maintain accurate personnel records

* Along with the team, arrange and administer probationary checkins

* Support performance improvement plans

* Support with Lawyer compensation and rewards

* Act as the trusted point of contact for any Lawyer concerns, queries or ER issues

* Support with leave of absence management, flexible working arrangements and accommodations processes

* Manage Lawyer resignation and termination process

* Lead and contribute to process improvements, policy refreshes and system implementations

Key Experience:

* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within a global Law firm is required

* Experience advising senior stakeholders on performance review cycles

* Experience of leading employee relations matters for Lawyers is necessary

* Experience of managing and coordinating visa applications and immigration record keeping

* Previous exposure to HRIS / LMS platforms would be advantageous, such as Workday / PeopleSoft

* CIPD qualification would be highly advantageous
