Maintenance Engineer

As a Maintenance Engineer in Birmingham, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of equipment and systems within the distribution industry. You'll focus on maintaining and repairing machinery to keep operations efficient and minimise downtime. Client Details A distribution company based in Birmingham. Description Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on machinery and equipment. Ensure all systems are operating safely and efficiently. Continental Shift pattern 7-7 4 on 4 off nights and days Diagnose and repair faults to minimise downtime. Work closely with other teams to maintain operational standards. Monitor and improve equipment performance where possible. Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and inspections. Adhere to all health and safety regulations and procedures. Support the implementation of new systems and processes.Profile A successful Maintenance Engineer should have: Relevant qualifications in engineering or a related field. Experience in maintenance within the transport and distribution industry. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
