Job Description Business Development Specialist (Private Equity) /n An award-winning US law firm is seeking a proactive and ambitious Business Development Specialist to join its high-performing team, supporting its market-leading Private Equity practice. You’ll work across pitches, market research, marketing materials and client relationship management, with excellent scope for career development. /n What’s On Offer: /n /n - Salary to £65,000 /n - Hybrid working (4 days office / 1 day remote) /n - Superb employee benefits + 30 days annual leave /n - City of London /n /n Business Development Specialist – What You’ll Be Doing: /n /n - Support business and client development planning, including budgets and reporting /n - Assist with pitches, proposals and client-facing materials, including tailored research and content /n - Support client meetings, BD initiatives and follow-up activities /n - Conduct client, market and competitor research to identify opportunities and inform strategy /n - Support key client relationship initiatives and track BD activity /n - Maintain marketing materials, presentations, lawyer profiles and matter records /n - Contribute to thought leadership, industry updates, directory submissions and awards /n - Support the planning and delivery of client events, conferences and sponsorships /n - Contribute to wider global, EU and London business development projects as required /n /n Business Development Specialist – What We’re Looking For: /n /n - 3+ years of Business Development experience within a law firm /n - Skilled in using relevant technology and software (e.g., PowerPoint, Word, Excel, InterAction) /n - Relevant Marketing or Business Development qualification (e.g. CIM or equivalent) advantageous /n - Knowledge of Finance, Business Restructuring, and Real Estate practices /n - An understanding of banks, financial institutions, investment funds and the infrastructure sector in the UK and EU markets is desirable /n
