Assistant Site Engineer - Civil Engineering Location: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire Civil Engineering Temporary £(Apply online only) per day Our client is looking to add an Assistant Site Engineer to join their team in delivering major infrastructure works. As an Assistant Site Engineer, you will play a key role in interpreting technical designs, coordinating site activities, and supporting programme delivery across your section of works. Key Responsibilities Interpret and understand design specifications and drawings Carry out accurate setting out using GPS and Total Station equipment Deliver setting out for earthworks and drainage Review design information and raise technical queries to the Section Engineer and Site Engineers to ensure smooth workflow Contribute to the 4-week lookahead programme for your area's works Work closely with supervisors, Site Engineers and the Section Engineer to co-ordinate effectively with other site activities Support delivery of Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) Identify, report, and close out Non-Conformances (NCRs) Communicate effectively with engineers, designers, enabling functions, and client representatives About You Experience delivering earthworks, drainage or RC frames Competent with GPS and Total Station equipment Strong communication and coordination skills Proactive and quality-driven approach The Ideal Candidate Will Have: A civil engineering educational / on-site background A valid and relevant CSCS card A full UK driving licence This Assistant Site Engineer opportunity offers the chance to work on high-profile projects within a supportive and professional environment.
