AI Engineer (Java) in Financial Services

IntaPeople are working exclusively with a fintech scaleup in Cardiff and require an AI Engineer with a Java background to join a new team.  This is a hybrid role with 3 days per week in the office. 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲: •    This role is within a new, leaner team and will be leveraging AI to build new features from scratch.  This role will be utilising Claude.ai for AI model development. •    Ideally, you will be a full stack engineer (React/TypeScript on the front end and Java 8+ with Spring Boot on the back end) but a solid back end engineer will work well too. •    We are open to mid level or senior engineers.  •    A financial service background is essential.  𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂: •    Whether you have been utilising AI tooling in a commercial environment or in your spare time, we want to hear from you! •    You will have worked commercially with Java (versions 8+) building APIs and microservices with Spring Boot for 5 years minimum.  •    Any cloud experience is a nice to have.  They have an AWS cloud infrastructure but any interaction with AWS, GCP or Azure would be an advantage. •    You’re a hungry dev who wants to keep developing their skills, learning new things and collaborating with the wider team.
