Maintenance Technician

Join a well-established social housing contractor on a permanent contract as a Joiner, covering the E16 area of London. I'd love to hear from anyone with experience working as a Joiner, ideally within social housing or domestic properties. The Joiner role is offering: • £32,000 per year plus a £3,000 starting bonus  • Company van and fuel card • 35 days annual leave including bank holidays • Option to buy and sell annual leave • Overtime opportunities • Monday-Friday, 08:00-16:30 core hours • Tools, uniform, iPad, mobile phone and PPE provided • Pension with matched contributions up to 7% • Permanent, secure employment • Consistent workload within your dedicated area • Bonus scheme of up to 2% • Sick pay As a Joiner, you will be: • Carrying out joinery installations and repairs • Working across occupied and empty properties • Completing work on doors, kitchens, flooring and internal fittings • Working to specifications, reports and agreed standards • Working independently and as part of a wider team • Recording work activity and completing required documentation • Supporting apprentices and contributing to team performance I'd love to speak to anyone who has: • Previous experience working as a Joiner • Social housing or domestic property experience • Experience with doors, kitchens, flooring and internal fittings • A full UK driving licence • Good customer service and communication skills • The ability to work independently and meet deadlines • Based within the E16 area of London due to the local patch Location & travel This role covers the E16 area of London, working across occupied homes, empty properties and domestic properties. You will also work in homes involving vulnerable customers. A company van and fuel card are provided.
