Please visit our website: Job DescriptionTurner & Townsend is one of the leading consultancy providers to the Infrastructure sector, we are looking to recruit an Associate Cost Manager / Commercial Manager for our prestigious infrastructure-based projects.As an experienced individual you will come with a wealth of experience in cost management ready to apply your existing knowledge in a new and dynamic environment. We are looking for a candidate comfortable in having challenging conversations with a consultative approach that can bring the best out of their team and client.MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE:Establishing friendly, professional and appropriate relationships with clients, colleagues and other parties involved in the projects and programmes we support.Administering a variety of contracts in accordance with project objectives and policies.Providing accurate project cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting to completion in line with budget.Pro-actively monitoring and managing cost variance and contract cash flow and ensuring that applications are made correctly and in a timely manner.Collaborating with client and contractor teams to manage the delivery of project deliverables, KPIs, and objectives, including programme performance, cost control, and value engineering.Managing contract change effectively, ensuring that projects remain within governance and adopt best practice.Driving improvements in the accuracy of forecasts and budgets.Proactively providing sound commercial knowledge and support to all stakeholders.Ensuring that final accounts are negotiated and agreed.Leading people and commissions as needed.QualificationsProven Cost / Commercial Management experiencePreferably MRICSNEC3 contracts (in particular Option C – Target Cost)Post contract administrationExperience of working on Major Programmes and ProjectsExperience of working on Infrastructure project (Rail, air, marine/ports, utilities highways) Experience in leading and managing teamsAdditional InformationTurner & Townsend is an equal opportunity employer.
