About you
- 5+ years' experience in a senior HR role within a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of employment law and employee relations
- Proven IR experience, supporting union engagement and IR negotiations for a minimum of 3 years
- CIPD membership and relevant degree or qualification in HR/business
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills
- Proven ability to lead change projects and manage multiple priorities
- Full driving licence; ability to adapt quickly to changing demands
What you'll do
- Provide expert HR support to operational teams across multiple sites, fostering a positive and high-performing culture
- Advise on HR policies, employment legislation, and IR strategies, including managing tribunal processes if required
- Build effective relationships with union representatives, lead IR negotiations, and ensure alignment with business goals
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and payroll processes to meet operational needs efficiently
- Lead and develop the HR team, driving performance, training, and succession planning in a busy environment
- Manage and deliver key HR projects aimed at improving team engagement, productivity, and organisational culture
