Contract Electrician About the Role We are looking for experienced Approved Electricians to join our contractor network and support a range of clients across various electrical projects. This is a flexible contract opportunity, ideal for an electrician who is looking to provide 3–5 days of contracting work at a time and is confident working across a variety of electrical environments. The Role As a Contract Electrician, you will be carrying out a range of electrical works for our clients, including installation, maintenance, testing and inspection. You will need to be a confident and competent electrician who can work independently, adapt to different sites and take on a variety of electrical tasks. Key Responsibilities * Carry out electrical installation, maintenance and remedial works * Complete EICRs, testing and inspection * Fault finding and electrical diagnostics * Installation and replacement of electrical equipment and components * Carry out general electrical works across domestic, commercial and/or industrial environments * Identify and rectify electrical faults * Ensure all work is completed safely and to current regulations * Complete relevant certification and paperwork * Work professionally and independently on client sites Requirements * Fully qualified Approved Electrician * 18th Edition Wiring Regulations * Strong experience completing EICRs and testing & inspection * Confident carrying out a wide range of electrical works * Able to work independently with minimal supervision * Good knowledge of BS7671 and electrical safety regulations * Previous contracting experience preferred * Own tools and relevant PPE * Reliable, professional and able to commit to 3–5 days of contract work What We Offer * Flexible contract opportunities * 3–5 days of work at a time * Variety of clients and electrical projects * Regular contracting opportunities for reliable electricians * Competitive rates based on experience and qualifications * The opportunity to build a strong ongoing relationship with our clients If you're an experienced Approved Electrician with strong EICR experience and you're looking for flexible contract work, we'd like to hear from you
