CAD Technician

We’re hiring: Civil CAD Technician / Design Technician (Energy Infrastructure) Advance Grid Solutions is expanding its engineering design team and we’re looking for a Civil CAD Technician to support delivery across BESS, substation and energy infrastructure projects. 🔧 Role focus: - General arrangements & site layouts - Drainage, earthworks & civil detailing - Cable duct & trench layouts - Concrete, RC & steelwork drawings - Working from mark-ups and survey data to produce buildable drawings You’ll also support temporary works (haul roads, working platforms, access) and have opportunities for site visits to see designs brought to life. ✅ Ideally we’re looking for: - 2–6 years’ experience in a civil / CAD role - Strong AutoCAD skills (Civil 3D beneficial) - BIM knowledge (advantageous) - Experience across infrastructure, energy or civil projects - Ability to turn sketches and mark-ups into accurate drawings - Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment 👥 You’ll be working within a close-knit team alongside a Chartered Civil Engineer and other design professionals, gaining exposure to a wide range of renewable energy projects. 📍 Scotland (with site visits as required) 🕒 Full-time
