Production Operative

Location: Thorne / Belton, DN8 Shift Pattern: Days & Nights - Rotation week1 Monday - Friday 7am- 4:30pm @ £15.46 / hr week 2 Monday- Thursday 7pm-7am @£15.76 / hr * The site is within commuting distance of Belton, Scunthorpe, Thorne, Doncaster, and surrounding areas. Due to the location and shift pattern, candidates must have their own transport. About the Role: We are currently recruiting Production Operators to join a well-established manufacturing facility in the Thorne/Belton area. As a Production Operator, you will play a key role in ensuring production runs efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity. Key Responsibilities * Operate manufacturing machinery and production equipment safely and efficiently. * Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are met. * Carry out quality inspections and checks on finished products. * Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment. * Follow company procedures, health and safety regulations, and work instructions. * Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve daily production targets. * Report machinery faults, safety concerns, and production issues promptly. * Assist with general production and housekeeping duties as required. Candidate Requirements * Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment is desirable but not essential. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. * Good communication and teamwork skills. * Reliable, punctual, and proactive approach to work. * Flexible to work rotating shifts. * Must hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle, as the site is not accessible by public transport.
