Parts Advisor

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and organised Parts Advisor to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing parts inventory, assisting customers, and ensuring smooth communication between departments. Duties * Assist customers in identifying and sourcing the correct parts efficiently and accurately * Maintain organised stock levels and ensure parts are correctly labelled and stored * Process orders using Microsoft Excel and other relevant software systems * Provide excellent phone etiquette when liaising with customers, suppliers, and internal teams * Manage incoming parts deliveries and organise maintenance schedules as required * Keep detailed records of transactions, returns, and stock movements * Support the team with general administrative tasks related to parts management * Ensure the workshop or service area is kept tidy and compliant with safety standards * Ideally be able to use 1-Link. * The role is for a fleet company, so the ordering and dealing with is all over the phone, no customer facing work. Experience * Previous experience in a similar Parts Advisor or automotive retail role is advantageous but not essential * Multilingual or bilingual skills are highly desirable to assist a diverse customer base * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective customer service * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for inventory management and reporting purposes * Excellent phone etiquette to handle customer inquiries professionally * Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment * Knowledge of vehicle maintenance or parts is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided as needed This role offers an engaging work environment where organisational prowess and excellent communication are valued.
