Ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on electrical work, this role offers excellent variety across control panel wiring, machinery installation and electrical assembly within a stable and supportive engineering environment. Panel Builder / Wirer - The Role: Wire electrical control panels, specialised machinery and frame-mounted equipment Install cable tray, trunking and conduit systems Read and interpret electrical schematics, GA drawings and wiring diagrams Carry out mechanical fitting of electrical components and associated equipment Test installations and support fault finding activities when required Use hand tools, power tools and crimping equipment to industry standards Support both electrical and non-electrical workshop activities when needed Maintain high standards of safety, quality and housekeeping Panel Builder / Wirer - What We’re Looking For: Completed recognised apprenticeship or Level 3 electrical qualification Previous experience with control panel wiring and field wiring Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team Good practical and organisational skills with strong attention to detail Desirable experience includes: 18th Edition qualification MEWP, PASMA, Harness, Forklift or Scissor Lift certification Mechanical fitting or installation experience Why Join?
