An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Engineering Manager to join a highly established and rapidly growing food manufacturing business at one of their flagship UK sites.

With major investment underway across the site, this role offers the chance to lead and shape the engineering function during a pivotal period of growth and transformation. Significant budgets are in place for CAPEX, maintenance improvement projects, and the continued development of the engineering team.

This is a highly visible leadership position where you will play a key role in driving engineering performance, operational reliability, continuous improvement, and long-term site strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing engineering team
• Deliver site engineering strategy aligned with business objectives
• Manage CAPEX projects and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Improve plant reliability, efficiency, and maintenance performance
• Support a strong culture of safety, development, and accountability
• Work closely with senior leadership across operations and manufacturing

About You

• Proven engineering leadership experience within food manufacturing or FMCG
• Strong background in maintenance and engineering management
• Experience managing budgets, projects, and team development
• Passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
