OverviewWe’re looking for a Senior Building Surveyor to join our thriving and collaborative Building Consultancy team, based out of our Birmingham office and covering the wider Midlands region. You'll lead on a diverse portfolio of projects across both the public and private sectors, supporting clients with expert building surveying services.This role offers autonomy, flexibility, and the opportunity to work as part of a multidisciplinary team spanning across England and Wales.Level Senior Building SurveyorLocation Birmingham-based with regional coverage across the Midlands.Work PatternThis role is permanent, full time. QualificationsMRICS (essential) About the role As a Senior Building Surveyor, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality building consultancy services and managing key client relationships across the Midlands. You’ll work across a variety of projects, with core responsibilities likely to include:Key Project Types:Technical due diligence for commercial and residential propertiesPreparing specifications, drawings, and risk assessments for refurbishments and maintenanceConducting building surveys, schedules of condition, dilapidation assessments, and defect analysisLeading QA processes and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practicePresenting findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholdersWe know that sometimes people can be put off applying for a job if they don't tick every box.
