Executive Sous Chef Opening - Park Plaza Waterloo

At Park Plaza, authenticity is at the heart of everything we do. Our Executive Sous Chef play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences while ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our kitchens.
We are currently looking for an Executive Sous Chef to join our team at Park Plaza Waterloo, where you will support the Executive Chef in leading kitchen operations across multiple outlets in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
What you'll be doing:
Supporting and deputising for the Executive Chef in the day-to-day running of all kitchen operations
Overseeing service across all outlets, including breakfast, meetings & events, room service, bar food, and the Florentine Italian Restaurant
Ensuring consistently high standards of food quality, presentation, and service delivery
Leading, motivating, and developing the kitchen brigade, fostering a positive and high-performing team culture
Driving food safety, HACCP, allergen compliance, and overall kitchen standards
Supporting menu delivery and seasonal changes in line with business needs
Managing food cost, waste control, stock, and operational efficiency
Working closely with F&B and Events teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences
What we're looking for:
Experience as an Executive Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a hotel or high-volume environment
Strong leadership and team development skills
Solid understanding of multi-outlet operations, including events and large-scale breakfast service
Good financial awareness, including food cost and labour control
Excellent organisation and communication skills
Passion for quality food and delivering outstanding guest experiences
Italian restaurant experience is desirable
