The Role

We’re looking for a senior technical leader in consumer and sensory science to shape the future of consumer understanding and product experience across a global organisation.

You’ll lead the evolution of sensory, quantitative and qualitative research capabilities, introducing new methods, strengthening standards and driving best practice. You’ll also build technical capability through coaching, training and talent development.

Working across global and regional teams, you’ll influence R&D, innovation, marketing and consumer insights, bringing fresh thinking and emerging technologies into the organisation. You’ll also build external networks and represent the business within the wider consumer science community.

The Requirements

We’re looking for an experienced consumer or sensory science leader with strong technical expertise and the credibility to influence at a senior level.

You’ll ideally have:

• Strong technical expertise across consumer and sensory science
• Strong quantitative research and statistical expertise; qualitative experience desirable.
• Experience building capabilities, standards and frameworks across complex/global organisations.
• A track record of influencing, coaching and developing technical talent.
• The confidence to inspire change and communicate complex science to senior and non-technical audiences.
• A relevant degree or equivalent experience in consumer science, sensory science, research or a related discipline.
• Fluent English; additional languages advantageous.
