About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality, engaging teaching across our Hairdressing provision, from Level 1 to Level 3.
You'll create inspiring learning experiences that develop students' practical skills, professional behaviours and industry readiness, preparing them for successful careers in the hair and beauty sector.
What you'll be doing:
Delivering engaging, practical and inclusive Hairdressing teaching
Demonstrating and coaching a wide range of industry techniques
Planning and assessing learning, providing high-quality feedback
Supporting students to develop professional standards and workplace behaviours
Tracking student progress and implementing timely interventions
Contributing to curriculum development and continuous improvement
Supporting recruitment, enrichment and employer engagement activities
Creating a positive, inclusive and high-expectation salon learning environment
About you
You're a skilled and passionate Hairdressing professional who is committed to helping others succeed. You will bring:
Level 3 qualification in Hairdressing (Level 4 desirable)
Industry experience or teaching experience in Hairdressing
A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
Strong knowledge of current hairdressing trends, techniques and industry standards
The ability to inspire, motivate and engage learners of all abilities
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Confidence using digital tools and technology to support learning
A commitment to inclusive practice, safeguarding and student wellbeing
