Structural Steel Fabricator West Midlands Competitive Pay + Overtime Full Time | Permanent We are recruiting for an experienced Structural Steel Fabricator to join a busy engineering workshop in the West Midlands. This role involves fabricating large steel structures and heavy industrial components using engineering drawings. You will be working with structural steel sections and thick plate (10mm – 50mm+) in a well-established workshop with regular overtime available. The Role * Fabricating structural steel from engineering drawings * Working with heavy plate (10mm – 50mm+) * MIG / MAG welding as part of the fabrication process * Building large steel assemblies, plant equipment and machine frames * Working with beams, columns and heavy steel sections * Using standard fabrication tools and workshop machinery Requirements * Experience in structural steel or heavy fabrication * Able to read and work from engineering drawings * MIG / MAG welding experience * Experience working with thick steel plate * Reliable and looking for a long-term permanent position Desirable (Not Essential) * Overhead crane or forklift experience * Experience in heavy industrial or plant fabrication This is a great opportunity to join a stable company offering long-term work and consistent overtime.
