Podiatrist Job Description

• Speciality -Podiatry
• Location -Frimley, Surrey
• Start date -ASAP
• Contract Length - Ongoing
• Pay Rate -£30 per hour
• Hours: Full-time or part-time
• Band 7 Podiatrist
• We are looking for an experienced Band 7 Podiatrist to join a well-established NHS podiatry service in the Frimley area.
• The role will involve managing a specialist caseload, with a particular focus on high-risk and diabetic foot care. You will work autonomously while also working closely with the wider podiatry and multidisciplinary teams.

Key duties

• Assessment and treatment of high-risk and complex podiatry patients
• Diabetic foot assessment and management
• Wound care, including assessment, debridement and ongoing management
• Vascular and neurological assessments
• Developing and reviewing specialist treatment plans
• Working autonomously with a complex caseload
• Providing specialist advice to patients and other healthcare professionals
• Supporting junior members of the podiatry team where required

Requirements

• 1 year(s) post graduate experience
• Valid Passport/Visa
• Fully compliant and cleared to work
• DBS or Police Check
• HCPC Registered
• Previous NHS podiatry experience
• Strong high-risk/diabetic foot experience
• Confident working independently at Band 7 level
• Wound care experience
