About the role
Pre-Construction Project Management Opportunities
Assistant Project Manager | Project Manager | Senior Project Manager
Salary: depending on experience and seniority
We're looking to speak with Project Management professionals at all levels to join a growing Pre-Construction team delivering complex infrastructure projects across the UK.
Working across projects supporting the power network, substations and grid connections, you'll play a key role in taking projects from initial planning through to mobilisation, ensuring they're technically viable, commercially sound and ready for construction.
The opportunity
Opportunities are available from Assistant Project Manager through to Senior Project Manager, with salary and responsibilities tailored to experience.
The roles involve working from the office approximately 2-3 days per week, alongside regular visits to project sites, primarily across the South of the UK.
Depending on your experience, responsibilities may include:
Managing projects through the planning, pre-construction and mobilisation stages.
Coordinating internal teams, clients, subcontractors and external stakeholders.
Supporting programme development, resource planning, risk management and project delivery strategies.
Monitoring budgets, costs, contractual requirements and commercial performance.
Ensuring health, safety, quality and compliance requirements are addressed throughout the project lifecycle.
Supporting the smooth handover of projects to site and delivery teams.
At senior level, overseeing multiple projects, mentoring colleagues and contributing to tendering and business development activities.
What we're looking for
We're interested in candidates with experience in project management, utilities, power, infrastructure, civil engineering or construction. You'll bring strong organisational and communication skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and stakeholder management.
Experience of pre-construction, project planning, mobilisation, subcontractor management or commercial project delivery would be beneficial. Relevant qualifications and industry certifications will depend on the level of appointment.
A company vehicle may be available depending on seniority and requirements.
If you're looking to develop or progress your career in infrastructure project management and want to play a key role in preparing complex projects for successful delivery, we'd be keen to hear from you.
