Hard FM Contracts Manager

Manchester / North West60,000-70,000 + Car Allowance + BonusWe’re recruiting an experienced FM Contract Manager for a growing technical facilities management business.This is a broad role combining contract management, technical surveying, estimating, project sales and delivery across a portfolio of Hard FM clients.A major part of the position is taking opportunities through the full lifecycle:Survey Scope Design Cost Quote Close DeliverThe RoleManage a portfolio of Hard FM and M&E maintenance contractsOversee PPM, reactive maintenance and engineer performanceManage SLAs, KPIs, compliance and client relationshipsSurvey additional works and technical upgrade opportunitiesProduce scopes of work and develop practical solutionsCost projects and prepare customer quotationsPresent proposals and close additional worksManage project delivery through to completion and handoverControl subcontractors, budgets, margins and variationsIdentify lifecycle, remedial and plant replacement opportunitiesSupport contract renewals and account growthThe CandidateExperience as an FM Contract Manager, Technical Contract Manager or Account ManagerStrong Hard FM / M&E backgroundGood knowledge of HVAC, heating, mechanical or electrical building servicesExperience managing engineers and subcontractorsAble to survey, scope and cost technical worksStrong commercial awarenessConfident client-facing communicatorExperience managing SLAs, KPIs and contract performanceFull UK driving licencePackage60,000-70,000 basicCar allowance / company vehiclePerformance bonusPensionLaptop and mobileOngoing training and developmentExcellent progressionThe OpportunityThis is ideal for someone who wants more ownership than a traditional FM Contract Manager role.You won’t just manage maintenance delivery – you’ll be able to identify an opportunity, survey it, scope it, cost it, quote it, win it and then deliver it.Long-term progression into Senior Contract Manager, Account Director or Operations Director.WR HVAC | M&E are the #1 recruitment partner for HVAC and M&E vacancies across the UK, Europe, and the USA.
