We are currently looking for reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver to cover work for a busy operation in the Chesterfield (S44) area.
This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for regular, planned work , with shifts booked in advance rather than relying on last-minute calls.
The Role Driving Class 1 (C+E) vehicles
Approximately 06:00 starts
Providing planned cover for existing drivers
Deliveries and collections as required
Completing vehicle checks and ensuring the vehicle is safe and roadworthy
Completing all relevant delivery paperwork and electronic PODs
Following company procedures and drivers' hours regulations
Maintaining a professional attitude when dealing with customers and site staff
Requirements Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Previous Class 1 driving experience
Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph regulations
Reliable, punctual and professional approach
Good communication skills
A good understanding of vehicle xwzovoh safety and daily checks
