the Consett area The Role Adhering to the following health and safety standards, and reporting all issues are report Responsible for following all standard procedures used in the production of customer orders Following customer test sheets / instructions and ensuring all work is completed correctly Recording the relevant information on check sheets for all customer orders worked on Use flat machine and overlocker to complete customer orders by sewing strips of fabrics together Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor issue Placing templates in specific areas to the ensure the products are to the highest standard Following test sheets, and cross referencing to ensure the work is to the standard required Testing of materials to ensuring the materials are to the correct standards Packing items into boxes and labelling products where required Worked with a variety of stains, lubricants and various oils Will do both roles from production and sewing machinery, depending on requirements at the time to where you will be place within the factory The Person Should be comfortable working both individually and in a small team Must be comfortable going for an interview and induction process Must be looking for a longterm position with a permanent contract after a probation period Must be able to work overtime one weekend out of every two, as this is a very important part of the role. About You; Previous experience not essential as full training can be given, but any manufacturing experience would be advantageous
