Our Engineering Apprenticeship Programme, delivered through the SDC Academy, offers a structured and immersive pathway into a successful engineering career. Over a period of 24 years, you will gain hands-on experience, expert mentorship, and industry-recognised knowledge, equipping you with the practical skills and professional confidence needed to excel in a dynamic engineering environment. Requirements Essential Have applied to a college to the Engineering apprenticeship for the September 2026 intake. GCSE English & Maths at grade C or above (or working towards). Have a good electrical/mechanical aptitude demonstrated through school activities, hobbies and interests. A good work ethic with an interest and passion in your chosen area. Solutions focused and a desire to learn. Self-motivated. Good organisational and time management skills. Awareness of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Desirable A team player with the ability to work independently Health and safety awareness Hours of work 07.00 to 16.00 Mon-Thurs 07.00 to 13.00 Fri 40 Hours per week This is the normal hours of work. You will be in college on your required days throughout your apprenticeship.
