Senior Electrical Engineer – Building Services | ScotlandAn established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join its expanding Building Services team in Scotland.Working within a highly collaborative environment, you will contribute to the delivery of major projects across sectors including Defence, Healthcare, Education, Science, Industrial and Commercial developments.The RoleThe successful candidate will take responsibility for the electrical design and coordination of projects from feasibility and concept stages through to detailed design and completion. The role offers a combination of technical leadership, project delivery and client engagement.Key Responsibilities:• Lead electrical building services design across a range of project types.• Prepare electrical calculations, specifications, technical reports and schedules.• Manage project delivery through all design stages.• Attend and lead client and design team meetings.• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated engineering solutions.• Contribute to the development of sustainable and energy-efficient building designs.Requirements:• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.• Experience delivering electrical building services designs across sectors such as healthcare, education, science, defence or commercial developments.• Strong technical design capability including power, lighting and associated building services systems.• Experience working directly with clients and managing project deliverables.• Knowledge of Revit and CAD software is desirable.• Chartered status or working towards Chartership would be advantageous.What's on Offer:• Opportunity to work on complex and high-profile projects.• Flexible and hybrid working arrangements.• Structured career development and progression.• Exposure to both UK-wide and international projects.• Support towards Chartership and ongoing professional development.Due to the nature of some projects, candidates must be eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC) or have the ability to obtain it.
