Weekend Sous Chef

Job Title: Sous Chef – Trevose Golf Club, Cornwall* *Position:* Full-time, Permanent (45 hours per week) *Location:* Trevose Golf Club, Constantine Bay, Cornwall *Trevose Golf Club is looking for an experienced and passionate *Sous Chef* to join our talented kitchen team in one of Cornwall’s most scenic and prestigious coastal venues. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to step into a key leadership role within a fast-paced, high-standard kitchen. *In this hands-on role, you'll work closely with the Head Chef to lead kitchen operations, support the team, and ensure consistently excellent food delivery. You'll have the opportunity to contribute creatively to menus while helping to maintain a positive, professional kitchen environment. *Lead by example during prep and service, ensuring consistency and quality * Uphold all health, safety, and hygiene standards to full compliance * Train, manage, and support kitchen staff; Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations and lead service when required * Manage stock levels, supplier orders, and inventory control * Minimum 5 years’ experience in a professional kitchen, with 2+ years as a Sous Chef * Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and compliance * Creative flair with a passion for quality, seasonal ingredients * Effective communicator, both in the kitchen and with front-of-house teams *Competitive salary: £34,000–£38,000 per annum (depending on experience) * Full-time, permanent contract (45 hours per week) * Work in a stunning and established golf club setting * Supportive, friendly team with real opportunities for growth *Job Type: Full-time Company events * Company pension * Discounted or free food * Employee discount * Free parking * Gym membership * On-site parking * Store discount
