They are now looking for a Business Development Manager to join their Home Improvement & Distribution Division and sell into some of the largest and most well-known distributors throughout the UK and Europe. As a Business Development Manager you will Identify new opportunities, customers and market trends within the consumer sector and channels/ Drive new business across the UK within the home improvement sector. Create consistent growth by developing detailed business cases and commercial strategies. Lead cross-functional teams across marketing, supply chain and sales. Forge new partnerships, alliances and licensing opportunities to create long term success. Conduct detailed market analysis and assessments to guide strategic decisions Support the pilot launches and testing of new products. Deliver business plans to senior leadership Drive innovation, brand and quality principles. Skills & Expertise Demonstrable success in business development, strategic sales or commercial growth roles Retail, FMCG or Consumer Products experience Excellent track record of winning new business and opening new accounts Commercially minded with strong analytical and financial modelling skills Excellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills Comfortable leading cross-functional projects and influencing multiple stakeholders Strong understanding of category management principles Self-motivated with a proactive, results-driven approach Degree qualified in Business, Marketing or a related discipline (preferred) ECS Recruitment Group Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy
