Whether you're an experienced Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, graduate, or considering a future career in teaching, this is a fantastic opportunity to work in welcoming Welsh-medium schools across the Torfaen area Elementa is recruiting confident, enthusiastic individuals to support pupils by delivering pre-planned lessons and helping create positive learning environments where young people can thrive. The Role You'll step into the classroom when teachers are absent, ensuring learning continues by: Delivering pre-prepared lessons across a variety of subjects Managing classroom behaviour with confidence and positivity Encouraging pupil participation and engagement Supporting Welsh-medium learning environments Providing feedback to teaching staff after each lesson Following school safeguarding procedures at all times No lesson planning or marking required. We're Looking For You'll be: A fluent Welsh speaker (essential) Confident leading groups of young people Passionate about supporting children's learning Calm, adaptable and professional Experienced working with children or young people (school experience is desirable but not essential) You'll also need: Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) EWC Registration (or willingness to register) Ideal For This role is perfect if you're: An aspiring teacher or future PGCE student A Teaching Assistant ready for the next step Returning to education after a career break Looking for flexible work around other commitments Passionate about Welsh-medium education Why Join Elementa?
