Connect to your opportunity We are seeking a talented Associate Director to lead testing solutions for leading Insurance clients. You will shape test strategy across traditional and agile programmes. Lead delivery programmes by defining modern Quality Engineering strategies, test architectures, and assurance frameworks. Work closely with multi-capability teams and senior business and IT stakeholders to deliver high-quality QE outcomes on time.Collaborate with our insurance leadership teams, proposition owners and QE to develop and implement ‘Go to market’ propositions to attract new clients.Shape client Quality Engineering strategies, roadmaps, and transformation programmes across Insurance. Help develop Deloitte’s QE propositions for the Insurance market through pre-sales, bids, and client presentations. Strengthen Deloitte’s QE capability by coaching junior team members and helping define and implement QE accelerators and standards.Significant experience working within the UK Insurance industry (Life, General, Specialty or Reinsurance)Experience of professional services deliveryExceptional communication, presentation and business writing skills and professional skills, including being able to bridge both technical and business stakeholdersExperience working with offshore and/or nearshore teamsStrong client relationship and stakeholder management experienceExperience across functional, integration, UAT and non-functional testing including automation and performanceExperience using test management tools such as JIRA, ADO or XrayExperience supporting bids, RFPs and go-to-market activitiesStrong leadership and management skillsAcute attention to detailComfortable working in a fast-paced and often changeable client environmentStrong commercial awareness of how professional services firms and change/transformation programmes operateAdditional desirable experience includes:ISTQB Advanced or Manager level certification (or equivalent)Application of GenAI tooling within the SDLCTest automation framework design and implementationAgile testing certificationExperience in administering a test management toolConnect to your business - Technology and TransformationDistinctive thinking, deep expertise, innovation and collaborative working.
