SEND Teaching Assistant - Scunthorpe Term Time Only | Immediate Start Available Recruiting through Aspire People Aspire People are currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEND school in Scunthorpe. This rewarding role involves supporting children and young people with a range of special educational needs and disabilities, helping them to access learning, develop independence, and achieve their full potential within a supportive school environment. Working Hours: * Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 8:30am - 3:30pm * Wednesday: 8:30am - 4:00pm (staff training and development) * Term Time Only The Role: * Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with SEND. * Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons. * Support pupils' social, emotional, and behavioural development. * Help create a positive, safe, and nurturing learning environment. * Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other professionals. We Are Looking For: * Experience working with children or young people with SEND (preferred but not essential). * A patient, caring, and resilient approach. * Strong communication and teamwork skills. * A genuine passion for supporting young people to succeed.
