Mobile Mill Operator & Driver – Southern England Salary: DOE + Overtime Job Type: Permanent | Full-Time Location: Southern England Benefits: Company Bonus Scheme | Training | Pension Talent Agri is recruiting on behalf of an established agricultural business for a Mobile Mill Operator & Driver. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an agricultural, machinery, driving or mechanical background who enjoys practical, hands-on work and working independently. The successful candidate will travel to farms across Southern England, operating specialist mobile milling and mixing equipment used in livestock feed production. The Role * Drive specialist mobile milling vehicles to customer farms * Operate feed milling and mixing equipment safely and efficiently * Carry out daily vehicle, machinery and equipment checks * Complete basic maintenance, cleaning and servicing * Handle feed materials and supplements * Complete job, production and delivery documentation accurately * Assist with servicing and repair work when required * Maintain high standards of Health & Safety and equipment care * Work independently while providing a professional service to customers About You * NVQ Level 2 or above in Agriculture, Engineering, Mechanics or a relevant related subject * Full driving licence held for at least 8 years * No HGV licence required – specialist training provided * Previous agricultural, machinery and/or mechanical experience preferred * Mechanically minded with a practical, hands-on approach * Comfortable working independently and using your own initiative * Good numeracy and record-keeping skills * Physically fit and comfortable undertaking manual work * Reliable, organised and professional when working with customers * Flexible regarding travel and occasional overnight stays The Package * Competitive salary – DOE + Overtime * Company bonus scheme * 20 days’ holiday + Bank Holidays * Workplace pension * Specialist training and refresher courses provided * Overnight allowance when required * Permanent, full-time position with an established agricultural business If you have a practical agricultural or mechanical background and are looking for a varied role combining machinery, driving and agriculture, we would like to hear from you
