About the Opportunity
* Our client is seeking a highly organised Maintenance Controller to join a busy and fast-paced Plant & Fleet operation. This is a key role focused on keeping vehicles and equipment compliant, maintained, and operating efficiently whilst ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Previous experience in a fleet, plant, or maintenance coordination or service advisor role is highly desirable.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Planning and scheduling servicing, MOTs, inspections, and calibrations
* Coordinating bookings with suppliers, customers, and external repairers
* Managing defect reports and arranging timely repairs
* Raising and processing purchase orders
* Monitoring compliance deadlines and ensuring SLAs are consistently met
* Supporting cost control by sourcing efficient and practical maintenance solutions
* Updating internal systems and maintaining accurate records
* Providing support to the breakdown team during peak periods
