Ramp Agents / GSE Operators

Ramp Agents and GSE Operators – East Midlands Airport Complete Workforce Solutions is building a team of experienced ramp and ground-handling personnel for upcoming cargo-aircraft operations at East Midlands Airport. The role will support aircraft unloading, cargo movements and the safe operation of airport ground support equipment. Duties may include: * Unloading cargo aircraft * Moving cargo between aircraft and warehouse areas * Handling pallets, ULDs, dollies and trailers * Operating cargo tugs and other ground support equipment * Carrying out pre-use equipment checks * Reporting equipment defects and cargo damage * Working safely around aircraft and moving vehicles * Following airport, airline and site procedures * Supporting aircraft turnaround activities * Communicating with supervisors and operational teams Applicants should ideally have experience in: * Ramp or ground-handling operations * Aircraft unloading * Cargo-aircraft operations * Airport ground support equipment * Cargo tugs or shunting vehicles * Pallet and ULD handling * Airside or safety-critical environments Applicants must be able to provide a full checkable work and activity history and complete all required airport-security checks and training. A full UK driving licence and previous airport-pass history would be advantageous. Indicative shifts may include long daytime and late-evening aircraft movements, including Tuesdays and Saturdays.
