Do you have a technical engineering background with AutoCAD knowledge and strong Excel skills, and want a role that will develop you long-term? This is a permanent position with a well-established UK lighting manufacturer, offering a clear platform to develop into a true specialist in lighting design and project support. You'll be backed by in-house training and the resources to grow your knowledge while being trusted with real responsibility from day one. The business is focused on expanding this division, so you'll be joining a team with momentum and long-term opportunity. You'll get exposure to varied projects across roads, tunnels and exterior environments, working closely with internal stakeholders and customers as you build your technical capability. You'll produce lighting designs and reports, create and edit AutoCAD drawings, support quotations and CRM updates, and attend site surveys/meetings/commissioning activity where required. This role suits a junior engineer motivated by high-level technical progression and becoming a recognised specialist, rather than staying in a purely routine, same-task role.
