Primary Teacher/Early Career Teacher – Long-Term Opportunities in Crawley and surrounding local areas (Permanent Potential) Location: Crawley, Horsham and East Grinstead- West Sussex Contract Type: Long-Term supply roles with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate Start Date: ASAP / Ongoing Salary: £130-£232 per day depending on role, responsibilities, qualifications and experience. About the Role: We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join our partner schools across Horsham and East Grinstead on a long-term basis, with a potential opportunity to secure a permanent position. You will take on full classroom responsibilities and become an integral part of the school community. Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum Take full classroom responsibility, including planning, marking, and assessment Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all pupils Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching to meet individual learning needs Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and leadership teams Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and the wider school community Essential Criteria: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Strong knowledge of the UK Primary Curriculum Experience teaching within a primary school setting Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills Commitment to high-quality teaching and pupil achievement Interest in securing a long-term or permanent role Desirable Attributes: A proactive, enthusiastic, and committed approach Strong communication and interpersonal skills Experience within diverse and inclusive school settings A desire to grow and progress within a school long-term Why Work With Supply Desk?
