Leisure Energy is an award-winning renewable technology company, consultancy, principal contractor and aftercare provider specialising in decarbonisation of leisure centres and swimming pools. Our mission is to lead the transition to net zero carbon leisure facilities.
We currently employ 26FTE and have a turnover over £12M.
We are looking for 2 experienced Site Managers to join us on a self employed basis initially on a 6 month FTC with potential to become a permanent role in the future.
Remuneration: £260- £300 DOE per day. No overtime or Expenses paid
Working Hours: Full time- Monday to Friday with potential of out of hours and weekend work

This is a role that will suit someone with M&E refit project experience with civils/trenching elements.
The Role
Reporting to the Senior Site Manager and working closely with the other areas of the business, as well as our subcontractors, your role will involve:
· Day to day management of site. Key holder responsibilities.
· Supervising and overseeing the direction of the project or a package, ensuring that the client's specification and requirements are met, reviewing works and liaising with the project management team.
· Liaising with the client, other construction professionals and, on occasion members of the public.
· Co-ordination and supervision of construction workers.
· Making safety inspections and ensuring works are carried out in a safe manner and in accordance with CDM
· Checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings
· Maintaining quality control procedures
· Finding ways to prevent problems and to solve any that may occur
· Assessing and minimising risk
· Complying with legal requirements, safety and building codes, keeping daily logs and diaries and issuing to the project management team
· Writing reports, updating the construction phase plan and keeping on top of site paperwork
· Arrange permits for all contractors
· Delivering inductions as per the company procedure and storing all associated reports and induction documentation in the appropriate site files.
· Deliver toolbox talks on site appropriate to the current working conditions.
· Enforcing safety procedures, minimising risk, ensuring the use of protective clothing, hard – hat, harnesses and other safety equipment.
· Managing site set-up, pack-up and snagging/defects
· Reviewing sub-contractor RAMS
· Carrying out Right to Work checks on sub-contractors if required.
Essential
· Minimum 5 years in the construction industry, commercial/industrial M&E sector preferred.
· CITB SMSTS qualified.
· Gold CSCS (minimum) card holder or equivalent.
·Temporary Works Co-ordinator
· An understanding of schematics and site drawings.
· Excellent communication skills to all business levels.
· Good working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
· Good decision-making ability and problem-solving skills
· Good Commercial awareness
· First Aid trained
· Full UK Driving license
· Ability to travel and stay away from home
Desirable
· Knowledge of solar and/or M&E installations.
· IOSH, RICS or ICE Nebosh certificate or equivalent health and safety related qualification
· Experience with site health and safety software
· Good knowledge of building methods and regulations
· Ability to motivate others
· Basic knowledge of scaffolding
· Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
· Ability to work remotely including experience with remote video conferencing
Initial interviews will be help on Teams with second interviews being held on one of our live sites across the UK.
