Vessel Mooring Operative
Quayside
An opportunity has arisen for a Vessel Mooring Operative (VMO) based at our Aberdeen Quayside. The VMO is responsibe for all tie-up, berthing and let go of vessels in accordance with Peterson policies and procedures.
The VMO ensures compliance with all relevant company work intructions for each job function and will have the ability to plan and organise all berthing operations, dealing effectively with changing priorities.
The successful candidate will have to demonstrate good communication skills, a strong focus on customer satisfaction, the ability to promote good team working and an excellent awareness of health and safety.
Knowledge and experience of quayside operations, including berthing and mooring operations are required.
OPITO Banksman Slinger and RTITB Forklift certificates are desirable.
