Senior Support Worker / Team Leader Location: Worcester Salary: £32,000 Sector: Adult Learning Disabilities / Challenging Behaviour Sleep-ins required We’re recruiting an experienced and passionate Senior Support Worker / Team Leader to join a specialist adult care service in Worcester, supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities and challenging behaviours. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take on additional responsibility, lead by example, and make a genuine difference to the lives of the people they support. Key Responsibilities: -Lead and support the care team during shifts -Provide high-quality, person-centred support to adults with Learning Disabilities -Support individuals who may display challenging behaviours -Promote independence, choice, dignity, and positive outcomes -Support with care plans, risk assessments, and daily documentation -Mentor and guide Support Workers to maintain high standards -Participate in sleep-ins as required Ideal Candidate: -Experience supporting adults with Learning Disabilities and challenging behaviours -Previous Senior Support Worker or Team Leader experience desirable -Strong leadership and communication skills -Confident supporting individuals with complex needs -Calm, resilient, and able to respond positively to challenging situations -Passionate about promoting independence and quality of life What’s on Offer: Sleep-in opportunities Supportive working environment Training and development opportunities Career progression within the care sector
