Housing Options Officer

Rate: £28-32ph Working Hours: 37 hours p/w Flexibility: x2 days in office, 3 WorkFromHome Our Local Authority client based in The West Midlands are urgently looking to take on a homelessness officer to join their housing options service. Your day to day duties will include: • Interviewing and advising homeless people in relation to all available housing opportunities • Providing advice regarding their rights and responsibilities • Give appropriate assistance to such customers in accordance with the Council's statutory duties under the Housing Act 1996 Section 190 and Section 192 • Refer homeless people to suitable available housing options speedily and efficiently • Providing long term solutions and up keeping customer relations * Essential Skills Previous Housing Options * Experience Knowledge of the Housing Act * Customer Focused * Experience working with the Locata System If you are interested in applying for this role get in touch with Toby Jones on (phone number removed) and send an up to date CV across
