Recruitment Consultant Chester Business Park | Monday to Friday | 9:00am – 4:00pm | £14.00 per hour - hours may vary due to work load Meridian Business Support is looking for a motivated and organised Recruitment Consultant to join our busy Chester branch. This is a fast-paced role supporting a high-volume temporary recruitment desk. You'll be responsible for managing bookings, speaking with candidates and clients, processing payroll and ensuring our workforce is in the right place at the right time. What's on Offer? * £14.00 per hour * Weekly pay * Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 4:00pm * No evenings or weekends * Opportunity to develop your recruitment career within a leading UK recruitment agency The Role As a Recruitment Consultant, your responsibilities will include: * Filling temporary bookings quickly and efficiently * Speaking with candidates daily to confirm availability and assign shifts * Building strong relationships with candidates and clients * Processing weekly payroll for temporary workers for 70-100 candidates * Registering and screening new candidates * Advertising vacancies and sourcing suitable candidates * Handling incoming calls and emails * Providing an excellent service to both clients and candidates What We're Looking For * Previous experience within recruitment, customer service or a fast-paced office environment * Excellent communication and relationship-building skills * Strong organisational and time management skills * The ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities * Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel * A proactive attitude with excellent attention to detail Whether you already have recruitment experience or have worked in a customer-facing role where you've managed multiple priorities, we'd love to hear from you.
