Who We're Looking For
As a Senior Project Manager, you will take overall responsibility for project delivery, ensuring safety, quality, programme, and commercial objectives are achieved while leading high-performing multidisciplinary teams. You could be working on structural, civil, water or roading infrastructure projects depending on your experience.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end delivery of major construction and infrastructure projects
Develop and manage project programmes, budgets, resources, and delivery strategies
Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards
Manage client relationships and act as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders
Lead project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
Identify and mitigate project risks while maximising opportunities for successful outcomes
Oversee contract administration, procurement, and commercial performance
Monitor project performance through regular reporting, forecasting, and governance processes
Ensure compliance with all regulatory, environmental, and health and safety requirements
Mentor and develop Project Managers, Project Engineers, and wider project teams
What you will bring
As an experienced Project Manager within the civil and structural infrastructure and construction infrastructure sector you will have;
Proven experience in a Senior Project Manager role delivering major construction, civil, infrastructure, or water projects
Demonstrated success managing complex, multi-million-dollar projects from planning through to completion
Strong commercial acumen with experience in contract management, budgeting, and forecasting
Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills
Strong understanding of project planning, risk management, and project controls
Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities
Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field
Professional accreditation or membership with an industry body is advantageous
