Teaching Assistant
Location: Leasowe, Wirral
Pay: £100 - £114.33 per day
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm
Start: ASAP
Contract: Full-time, long-term / temp-to-perm
Duration: Starting ASAP and continuing into September
The Youth Education Service are working with a fantastic special school in Leasowe, Wirral who are looking for a caring and reliable Teaching Assistant to join their team.
This is a full-time, long-term role starting as soon as possible and continuing into September.
For the right person, there is also the opportunity to move onto a permanent school contract after 12 weeks.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils with a range of additional needs in the classroom.
You will help pupils stay engaged, build confidence and feel supported throughout the school day.
The school are looking for someone who is patient, resilient and able to build positive relationships with children and young people.
You Will Be Supporting Pupils With:

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

Has experience working with children or young people
*
Is caring, patient and empathetic

Can stay calm in challenging situations

Is reliable, proactive and resilient
*
Can build strong relationships with pupils
*
Is passionate about supporting young people
*
Has experience in SEN, SEMH, care, youth work, sports coaching or education - desirable but not essential

About The Youth Education Service
The Youth Education Service is a small, local education recruitment agency supporting Primary, SEN and SEMH schools across the North West.
You will deal directly with Ryan and Danielle throughout the process, giving you a more personal and supportive experience.
