Job Title: Maths Teacher Location: Sheffield Salary: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-time Are you a passionate Maths Teacher ready to inspire students to excel in numeracy and problem-solving? Maths Teacher Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum Teach mathematics across Key Stages 3, 4 & 5, preparing students for assessments and examinations Develop students’ problem-solving, reasoning, and analytical skills Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners Maintain strong classroom management and promote positive behaviour Support students’ academic and personal development Contribute to departmental planning and curriculum development Requirements of a Maths Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent A degree in Mathematics or a related subject Experience teaching Maths in a school setting is desirable Strong classroom management and communication skills Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities A professional and proactive approach to teaching An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks, including providing an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service or completing a new application.
