Field Service Engineer (Forklift Engineer)

Field Service Engineer (Vehicle Telematics) Location: Remote (UK-wide travel, occasional European travel; Salary: £40,000 – £47,000 (DOE) + company car or car allowance + laptop + phone + expenses + performance-related bonus

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join a global leader in advanced vehicle telematics and control systems for the emergency services sector.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in supporting mission-critical fleets and vehicle builders, ensuring seamless integration of cutting-edge technology into emergency vehicles. You will receive comprehensive training at the global headquarters before moving into the field, ensuring you are fully equipped with the technical knowledge and tools you need to succeed. Diagnose and resolve complex electrical, telematics, and integration issues on-site and remotely.
Interface with CAN Bus, ECUs, and vehicle networks using advanced diagnostic tools.
Deliver rapid, structured solutions to minimise fleet downtime.
Perform advanced electrical installations and calibrations on 12V/24V emergency vehicles.
Configure hardware and software to meet customer requirements.
Validate installations and conduct functional testing to ensure seamless integration.
Deliver technical training sessions and product demonstrations to customers.

Recent, proven experience working with automotive electrical systems (12V/24V, wiring harnesses, CAN Bus).
Certification or formal training in automotive electrical systems.
A full UK driving licence.
Flexibility and willingness to travel frequently across the UK (and occasionally Europe).
