Refrigeration Engineer

I am currently recruiting for a Refrigeration Engineer to join my client covering Hampshire and the surrounding areas. The successful Refrigeration Engineer will carry out installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems across a range of customer sites. You will be confident fault finding across both electrical and mechanical systems and comfortable working independently in a customer-facing environment. Refrigeration Engineer Responsibilities: * Carry out planned and reactive maintenance, servicing, repairs and installations. * Fault find and diagnose electrical and mechanical faults. * Work on a range of equipment including chillers, cold rooms, CO2 refrigeration and air handling units. * Repair and replace components including compressors, pumps, motors, fans, valves and controls. * Ensure work is completed safely and in line with relevant regulations. * Complete service reports and associated documentation. * Provide a professional service when attending customer sites. Refrigeration Engineer Requirements: * Previous refrigeration and/or air conditioning engineering experience. * NVQ Level 3 or equivalent relevant engineering qualification., ideally electrical. * F-Gas Category 1 certification is essential. * Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills. * Full UK driving licence. * Able to work independently and manage workload effectively. * Flexible approach to working hours and occasional working away from home. * Willing to participate in a 1 in 3 on-call rota.
