Maths SEND Specialist Teaching Assistant – East London Recruiting on behalf of TeacherActive TeacherActive are currently recruiting for a Maths SEND Specialist Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming 2-form entry primary school in East London. The school is looking for a confident, experienced TA who can support pupils with SEND needs while helping them develop their Maths skills and confidence. The Role: Maths-focused support across KS1/KS2 Supporting pupils with a range of SEND needs 1:1 and small-group interventions Helping pupils access the Maths curriculum Supporting behaviour, engagement and confidence Working closely with the class teacher and SEND team The Ideal Candidate: Previous experience supporting Maths in a primary setting Strong understanding of SEND Experience working 1:1 and in small groups Confident managing challenging behaviour Patient, supportive and adaptable Enhanced DBS or willing to obtain one Location: East London School: 2-form entry primary school Role: Maths SEND Specialist TA Start: ASAP Contract: Full-time / long-term If you’re an experienced TA with a passion for Maths and SEND, we want to hear from you!
