About the role

Holme Court Hampshire (Yateley Manor School Site) HLTA We are looking to appoint HLTAs to join Holme Court Hampshire, starting in April 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced teaching assistants and HLTAs to make a real difference working with a small group of pupils who have additional needs. The role is full time. Starting in April 2026, you will be supporting and working with small groups of pupils who have additional needs. At Holme Court Hampshire, we believe that every child deserves a learning environment where they are understood, respected, and celebrated. Our independent school specialises in supporting children aged [7–13] with Autism Spectrum Condition and additional needs, we operate a needs-led approach to specialist education that focuses on each pupil’s individual presentation and educational needs, rather than diagnosis alone. With a personalised curriculum, highly trained staff, and a warm, inclusive atmosphere, we help each child unlock their unique potential. As an HLTA at Holme Court Hampshire you will support a tailored curriculum to pupils aged 7 – 13. Take responsibility for agreed learning activities under an agreed system of supervision. Work with identified curriculums and supporting specific subjects as well as helping with lesson planning. Support extra-curricular activities such as education visits and recording/reporting pupil outcomes. At times, be the lead practitioner in the class delivering whole class teaching without the teacher present. The review of applications will begin as soon as applications are received. Applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening, as all new staff will be subject to enhanced DBS clearance, identity checks, qualification checks and employment checks to include an exploration of any gaps within employment, two satisfactory references and registration with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
