Higher Clerical Officer

Location: Newtownards

Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm)

Band: Band 3

Duration: Ongoing

£12.75 per hour

We are currently recruiting for a Higher Clerical Officer with typing duties to join the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services team in Newtownards. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator to support a busy healthcare service.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing telephone enquiries and providing administrative support
• Booking appointments and meeting rooms
• Typing correspondence and reports
• Processing and logging referrals
• Updating electronic information systems and waiting lists
• Reception cover and customer service duties
• Electronic filing, photocopying and general office administration
• Undertaking other duties appropriate to the grade as required

Essential Criteria

• Minimum of 1 year's experience in an administrative role
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Competent IT and keyboard skills
• Ability to work effectively within a busy team environment

Desirable

• Experience of Encompass would be advantageous
